Ladies and gentlemen, old and young, the circus has come to town and with it, all the fun you can have. Contrary to what some may think, circus owners, earn most of their money from the food, candy, drinks, etc. they sale opposed to the money they earn from ticket sales. Let’s help them figure that out by writing a program.
Let’s assume the local circus charges $20 for each adult ticket and $6 for each kids’ ticket. They estimate that the average adult attendee spends $13 on food, drinks, etc. and they estimate that the kid attendee spends about $17.00 on food and beverages.
Your job is to write a program that calculates and shows what percentage of adult income and what percentage of kids’ income comes from ticket sales and what percentage comes from food concession sales.
Feel free to make up the number of attendees you want, as well as any other number you think you need to complete the assignment.
/* Below is an example of what your output could look like, that is just an example, and it doesn’t necessarily have to look like that. Just make sure your program is formatted to the best of your abilities and shows the percentage of sales from ticket sales vs. food/drinks sales and kids vs. adults.
Tickets 60.6% 26.1%
Concessions 39.4% 73.9%
